Em Chan Makara Calls on Public to be Wary of Fake Account Under His Name

PHNOM PENH: The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, Em Chan Makara, has announced that there is a Telegram account under the username '@makarachanem2' that is impersonating him, and is not his real account.

In a Facebook post made by the Secretary of State on Wednesday, he clarified that the account under username '@makarachanem2' is fake and is using his picture and name to impersonate him. He called on the public to be careful and avoid any such fraudulent accounts.

The Secretary of State's real Telegram account is under the username @makarachanem and has a verified blue check mark.
